This custom Lamboatghini is confusing and infuriating

Just in case being the centre of attention on the road wasn't enough for your ego, someone went and built this.

If you're thinking it looks a little bit like one of those knock-off toys that tries to emulate a genuine Lamborghini product, you'd be right. But there's actually a surprising amount of genuine Lamborghini in this Maritime Technology Inc. G6 52-foot off-shore racing boat.

These look like genuine Aventador parts because they are.

Just get a load of those headlamps, tail-lights and it goes so far as to sport an Aventador steering-wheel and centre console. In fact, it has over AU$65,000 of geniune Aventador parts to match its land-based companion.

Well, this seems a bit much.

Of course, no abomination like this would be complete without matching paint, and SV (SuperVeloce) logo-work that we're not sure will stay completely clear of some sort of legal proceedings.

Even the engine bay is somewhat confusing, with all sorts of Lamborghini branding despite just being the regular G6 power mill.

Nothin' better than a bunch of carbon fiber and bright paint in the engine bay.

Speaking of power, the boat will put out 1100kW when powered by 112 AKI race fuel compared to the Lambo's tiny 552kW.

It's kind of fitting though. Not in a 'woah, they did a great job' kind of way, but more in a like for like comparison. This is a damn 52 foot racing boat with maybe 10 feet of usable space, about as practical as the supercar it's trying to imitate.

The price? Well it's for sale in the US right now, but you have to buy the car and the boat as a matching set, for the equivalent of AU$2.9 million. For that money, they'll even throw the trailer in.
