As an F1 and Ayrton Senna fan, the late '80s McLaren in Marlboro colours is the most iconic livery of that era.

So, it’s cool to see McLaren Special Ops (MSO) build a P1 GTR tribute using the famous colour scheme of McLaren's Rocket Red and Anniversary White.

Chassis 12 was specially commissioned for its owner (a big Senna fan) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his first world championship. The owner worked with the MSO team to have particular details added to the car, which includes the following:

  • Senna Brand Trademark on the front splitter, air intake and each door
  • The ‘Senna’ script and ‘Driven to Perfection’ slogan was added to the doors and intake
  • Senna's beloved Brazilian flag and the bar code used in lieu of Marlboro script were also added
  • That says it all... That says it all...
  • ‘Driven to Perfection’. ‘Driven to Perfection’.
  • Senna Brand Trademark was added to each door. Senna Brand Trademark was added to each door.

Senna’s family nickname was ‘Beco’ and with full support of his family, chassis 12 also received the same name.

A very fitting tribute to a legend of the sport and a man who won all three of his drivers’ championships for McLaren.
