As an F1 and Ayrton Senna fan, the late '80s McLaren in Marlboro colours is the most iconic livery of that era.
So, it’s cool to see McLaren Special Ops (MSO) build a P1 GTR tribute using the famous colour scheme of McLaren's Rocket Red and Anniversary White.
Chassis 12 was specially commissioned for its owner (a big Senna fan) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his first world championship. The owner worked with the MSO team to have particular details added to the car, which includes the following:
Senna’s family nickname was ‘Beco’ and with full support of his family, chassis 12 also received the same name.
A very fitting tribute to a legend of the sport and a man who won all three of his drivers’ championships for McLaren.
