Mad Mike builds insane drifting Lamborghini Huracan

By Iain KellyIain Kelly
Sadly, this Huracan isn't rotary powered.

Drifting is a wild sport full of screaming engines, burning tyres, insane close-quarters sliding, and huge personalities.

One of the biggest stars is New Zealand's "Mad" Mike Whiddet, normally known for his off-the-chain rotary-powered Mazdas. But, now he has a fresh new build coming with the world's first drift Lamborghini Huracan.

Named the 'SLAMBO' the widebody reportedly runs a modified version of the raging bull's 5.2-litre V10, with custom Rotiform wheels.

Mike will unveil more details soon and we can't wait to see it flying sideways in D1 Grand Prix competition!

Should Mad Mike ditch the V10 for a quad-rotor? Let us know in the comments.
