Two generations of Australian-built Pintara took aim at the Toyota Camry and Mitsubishi Magna between 1986 and 1992, with the first Skyline R31 based rear-drive model replaced by a front-drive Bluebird-based model in 1989.

All Pintaras used inline four-cylinder engines and were ultimately replaced by locally assembled Nissan Bluebirds.

The line-up currently starts at $2,420 for the Pintara Tr.X and ranges through to $4,510 for the range-topping Pintara Ti.
