As it is based on a medium-sized commercial van platform, the EQV has a massive interior. You can stand up and walk from the driver's seat through the centre of the second row to the third row. It has ample head, leg, hip and shoulder room, and it features some premium materials throughout. The rear doors are power operated. It lacks some storage for the second and third rows.
Colours for the EQV include 'Arctic White,' 'Obsidian Black,' 'Brilliant Silver,' 'Hyacinth Red,' 'Mountain Crystal White,' 'Dark Graphite Grey,' 'Selenite Grey,' 'Jupiter Red,' 'Steel Blue,' 'Pebble Grey' and 'Cavansite Blue.'
The EQV comes in just one model grade and standard features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sat-nav, a 10.25-inch central screen housing the MBUX multimedia system and operated via touchscreen or touchpad, two USB-C ports, a Burmester surround sound system and DAB+ digital radio.
Other gear includes a multi-function leather steering wheel, automatic dual-zone climate control with pre-entry climate, power side doors, leather trim, heated power adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, a seat rail system and rear removable parcel shelf.
The EQV drivetrain features a single motor that sends up to 150kW of power and 365Nm of torque to the front wheels, and it's matched with a 90kWh lithium-ion battery pack housed beneath the floor.
The EQV is a seven-seat people mover, configured in a 2+2+3 layout across the three rows. The second row has two captain's chairs and the third row is three seats across a bench. The EQV features leather seats throughout. The heated and power adjustable front seats offer ample support, as do the captain's chairs.
The EQV has cargo capacity of 1030 litres when the parcel shelf is not fitted.
The EQV covers the 0-100km/h dash in about 12 seconds. Top speed is 160km/h.
Range is 418km on the NEDC protocol and 355km on WLTP.
