The Mercedes-Benz CLA is a coupe interpretation of Mercedes-Benz’s smallest A-Class luxury hatch.

First introduced in 2013 and replaced in 2020 with a new generation, it started a niche now combated by the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe. Distinct from the A-Class sedan, the CLA has a more slippery profile reminiscent of a two-door coupe, so says Mercedes.

A variety of engines from a Renault-twinned 1.3-litre turbo right up to hi-po 310kW AMG-fettled ‘45’ variants are offered.

The line-up currently starts at $78,100 for the CLA-Class CLA 200 and ranges through to $78,100 for the range-topping CLA-Class CLA 200.
