Audi RS7 Sportback 2014 review

The new Audi RS7 is seriously, seriously fast. To give you a brief idea, its could keep pace with a Ferrari F40 from 0-100km/h. It could also keep pace with an Audi R8 V10, and you could even beat a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

It's all down to the RS7's thumping twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8, with 412kW and 700Nm being fed through Audi's quattro all-wheel drivetrain.

The RS7 wraps the RS6 Avant's mechanical package within the A7 Sportback's five door hatch body, resulting in a more understated package that gives nothing away in terms of performance.

With the everyday refinement and five-door practicality of the regular A7, the RS7 is a great family car, and you can still embarrass a few Porsche 911 drivers away from the lights, and who could get bored of that.
