Holden Equinox

The Holden Equinox is the long-awaited mid-size SUV replacement for the Holden Captiva.

From its 2017 launch, the five-seat Equinox arrived with two petrol engines, with the bigger 2.0-litre option being the most powerful in its class. Diesel options arrived later in mid-2018. Like most of its competitors the Equinox is available with either two- or all-wheel drive.

Currently, the Equinox can be had in a variety of flavours from the $27,990 Equinox LS (FWD) (5YR) to the $49,290 Equinox LTZ-V (AWD) (5YR).

Its rivals include other mid-size SUVs like the Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, Volkswagen Tiguan, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, and the Nissan X-Trail.
