Chery Problems

Get it straight back to the dealership and make a big fuss. From my experience, the quality of Chery vehicles is not good and rust in any car is something that needs to be sorted as quickly as possible.

It is unacceptable to have to wait eight weeks for a new part for sure. That you are getting no joy out of the dealer or the company is even worse. Go back to the dealer and demand a meeting with them and the Chery people with the aim of coming to a satisfactory resolution.

The Chery J3 does not have an official ANCAP safety rating, which means it might have not ever been tested.

You need to find another mechanic for starters. There is nothing out of the ordinary about the Chery that would stump a competent mechanic. If there’s no spark, check the ignition, and the engine computer. If you need parts simply go on-line and Google Chery parts and you’ll find a number of suppliers.
