Fiat is providing police in a Fiat 500C Convertible for use in that most upmarket of Sydney's eastern suburbs, Rose Bay.

Being unlikely to keep pace with any self-respecting felon, unless they're fleeing on foot, bambino ragtop has a gig in community police working being, unlike your usual cop conveyance, a way of sparking conversations and building a rapport in the community. The 500C also frees up your Falcodores etc for work out on the road.

And, as the most economical car in the Rose Bay Police fleet, it reduces fuel bills.

The 500C will be used throughout the Command for community policing, the Crime Management Unit, which includes the Crime Co-ordinator, as well as the Crime Prevention Officer, Youth Liaison Officer, Domestic Violence Officer and the Traffic Officer
