It's a special one-off Volkswagen Golf GTI barbecue, complete with honeycomb style cooking grille. The four burner barbecue was manufactured for Volkswagen by Black Forest barbie maker Brennwagen to mark the 35th anniversary ofthe Golf GTI.

In fact, it comes with two "GTI 32" fire brands.

The detachable drawer bar is finished in double-stitched leather.

Brennwagen's barbecues are all hand buillt from stainless steel in at a small workshop in Oberndorf in the Black Forest.

The Brennwagen idea was born on the racetrack.

The barbecue hot rod is the brainchild of the former Formula 1 engineer Florian Wagner. Passionate about barbecuing, he wanted a new challenge after Toyota's withdrawal from the racing circuit and made the natural switch from burning rubber to burning charcoal.

Florian Wagner heads the Brennwagen enterprise together with his friend, Daniel Ernst, with whom he had already designed his first race cars and won design awards at university. Check out the size of the steaks.
