For the first time in its 90 year history, Bentley has unveiled “An Unbroken Line”, a behind-the-scenes look at the development of some of its most important models, including the popular Continental GT Coupe and flagship Mulsanne luxury sedan.

The updated Continental GT features prominently in the exhibit, from early concept drawings and details of the cabin, right through to the final design that goes into production.

The exhibition also includes some of the most famous classic Bentleys, including a rare 1930 Blue Train Speed Six Coupe, on loan from its American owner.

“It is fascinating to see just how talented the early Bentley designers really were” says Dirk van Braeckel, Director of Design and Styling at Bentley. “The beauty of their concept sketches and sheer precision of their technical drawings still inspires my own team to this day.”

“An Unbroken Line” will be on display at Bentley’s headquarters in Crewe, UK, for 2011.
