After driving 200 to 250 km the engine in my VS Commodore just stops and all the lights come on. If I put it in neutral it starts straight away and does not stop again, until the next 200 to 250 km. I have had the computer checked but no codes come up, I have changed the DFI and replaced the plugs. What is going on, is it electrical or fuel or whatever?
If it just stops without any warning then I would think it's electrical and I would be checking the ECU and sensors that send it signals. Particularly check the crank angle sensor. If it were a fuel problem I would expect to get a warning, such as the engine going off song like it was starving for fuel before stopping.
