What is the best small SUV for camping with a bit of space?

I drive a 2007 Mazda3 six-speed manual but I want to upgrade and was looking at the new Mazda CX-3. I also like VW's Tiguan or a Skoda. I want a small SUV type as we go camping and need a bit of space. I'd only have two passengers most of the time but I want to know I've a bit of room if needed.

Much as I like the CX-3, and have given it The Tick, it's a tiddler that will not work if you need space. From the cars on your list, I'd go for the Tiguan.
