Kia Cerato 2006: Slipping clutch at low kilometres?

THE clutch on my 2006 Kia Cerato is slipping and the dealer says it needs to be replaced. It has done less than 32,000km in the 20 months I have had it and, though I accept clutches wear out, surely at less than two years old with the low kilometres I have done, it has to be a manufacturing fault.

I AGREE that the figures represent unacceptable clutch life. You should persist with the dealer to get Kia to come to the party. If that doesn't work, ask Kia directly for compensation.
