Holden Barina 2009: Multiple cylinder misfire

A warning light on our 2009 TK Holden Barina, came on indicating random multiple cylinder misfire. The cylinder head was reconditioned due to sticky valves. After another 1000 km the fuel injectors required replacing. Should we be having this type of trouble, or do we have a lemon motor? Is there anything else associated with these repairs that should be investigated?

You certainly shouldn't need to recondition the cylinder head after such a short time. I would be checking for reasons the valves might be sticking. As the fuel injectors gave trouble shortly afterwards I would be looking to the fuel side of the engine. First, I would change fuel brands, definitely not use E10, perhaps use a higher-octane fuel, and regularly run fuel system cleaner through the car.
