Asked by Alex de Figueiredo
Within the next year I would like to buy a medium-sized car (Mitsubishi Lancer, Holden Astra or similar). It has to be $10,000 or less, be no older than 1998, have five doors and automatic transmission. Could you please recommend some models that you think are worth buying.
Answered by CarsGuide
27 Feb 2004Your need for a 1998 or later model for $10,000 makes things difficult. I would recommend you try a Nissan Pulsar N15 which was introduced in 1995 -- it's well built, reliable and has good resale value.
