    Ford Ford Advice Ford Laser Ford Laser Advice Ford Laser 1989
    I AM thinking of selling my 1989 Ford Laser KE hatch, which has 183,600km on the clock, because it is getting expensive to run due to the high petrol prices. The car is in good condition for its age and mechanically sound. They seem to be fetching between $3000 and $6000, but I went to a car dealer and he told me they were only worth between $600 and $1000. Selling privately, what should be my asking price?

    THE KE Laser has moved beyond the age at which dealers are interested, but they are a popular little car and would make a good starter for a young driver who wants economical motoring. If your car is in good condition I would think its worth $2500-$3500 if sold privately.
