While travelling up to the high country I stopped for a break only to find that my Holden Cruze diesel would not start. It would crank over, but wouldn't fire? After calling the RACV and waiting an hour for them to get to me, the serviceman walked up to the car, asked for the keys, then locked and unlocked it, and gave me the keys back. It started and in less than two minutes I was back on the road?
He told me that it was a computer fault with the Cruze and that by going through that procedure I shouldn't have any more problems? As it was still under warranty I went back to the dealer who denied that there was a problem. They put it on the computer to check if it came up as a fault, but nothing showed. Strange that the RACV are aware of it. It has happened several times since.
Going through the procedure the RACV guy did obviously reboots the computer. The RACV guys have obviously had to rescue other Cruze owners who have suffered the same problem as you have.
