I HAVE just found the left-front guard on my two-month-old Holden Astra SRI Coupe was damaged and repaired before I picked it up. A new guard had been sprayed and fitted, but the repair job is bad, and the colour match and finish is ludicrous. I'm very unhappy, but the dealer doesn't understand why I'm so upset. All they want to do is repair the vehicle again, so my new car will have been repaired twice before it's two months old. Holden told me the blame falls on the dealers and to call them because it was ordered from a Queensland dealer and delivered to Victoria for me
CARS are sometimes damaged in transit, but it's the responsibility of the dealer to ensure the car is handed over to you in new condition. Your best course of action is to let them repair it again, but this time don't take delivery of it until you are satisfied with the repairs.
