Futura engine riddle

IN THE past five months I have had two processor engine controls (PCMs) replaced by Ford, under warranty in my 2003 BA Falcon Futura. The replacements were completed, but not before the threat of legal action, as Ford said the connection of LPG (dual fuel) in 2005 could have caused the failures. Ford could not prove it and still has no idea what caused the problem. Have you heard of Ford having problems with the PCM in the 2003 BA? Would the gas fitting cause it problems?

I'M NOT aware of any major problem with the BA PCM, but your problem could be caused by a problem with the interface of the dual-fuel system and the Ford system. Normally, the two talk to each other in running the engine, but it's possible the dual-fuel computer isn't properly integrated to the BA's original system. The installer should be able to find the problem.
