Engine issues with 2016 Ford Ranger

I have a 2016 Ford Ranger, it’s only done 24,000 km. There have been issues with engine, the tacho fluctuates at idle and at low speed, and the engine shakes excessively while this is happening. It has been taken back to Ford five times with no fix as yet. What is Ford’s responsibility and process from here?

Ford’s responsibility is to fix the problem. If you haven’t already contact Ford’s Customer Relationship Team (phone: 13 3673) and register your problem with them and give them the full picture of what’s happened to date. If you think the problem has gone beyond talking to Ford consider going to the Consumer Affairs people in Victoria.
