I AM nearing retirement and in the process of buying a new car and leaning towards the new Hyundai i3, but I would like to your opinion on how the 1.6-litre diesel engine would handle an automatic gearbox.

THE diesel will be fine with an auto, and I haven't had any bad reports about Hyundai auto transmissions in recent times.
