Caught Short By A Mouse

A MOUSE chewed a hole above the rear passenger tyre in my Toyota Prado a year ago. It went through the car and left deposits everywhere. Now the brake lights occasionally come on by themselves and have flattened the battery a couple of times. Can you help?

THE mouse could have chewed through the wiring and caused a short. Have the wiring in the rear of the car checked.
