After reading about a Holden Captiva pulling left and having to have its tyres replaced, I realized that it wasn't just me. After having a couple of wheel alignments done and being told that there is no issue, we checked the tyres on our Captiva and found that the front left had worn bald on the outside of the tyre only after doing 23,500 km. We had the tyre replaced at our local Holden dealer at half cost to ourselves, but were still told that it was a wheel alignment issue. Is there an issue with the Captiva?

You are not alone. Your experience is quite common, but one that Holden doesn't seem keen to own up to. Contact Holden directly and register your concerns. You could also consult a suspension specialist like Pedders who should be able to fix the problem for you.
