Brake failure concerns

THE stories of faulty brake hoses on Falcons concern me because my son drives a 2004 BA station wagon and has three young children. I phoned Ford to check if it affected his car and was advised that there had been ``no recall'' on that vehicle. I then referred them to the stories in Carsguide and Ford's reply was that ``not enough people have complained, I cannot comment further''. I suppose it is now a matter of keeping one's fingers crossed and hoping the brake hoses do not split.
