Holden Barina 2011: Brakes locking when cornering

What would cause the brakes on a 2011 Holden Barina to lock on when turning to right or left without actually touching the brake pedal?

I can't imagine what would cause the brakes to lock on without touching the pedal. You could check the front suspension, alignment, wheel bearings etc.
