My 2002 Holden Commodore Series II cuts out occasionally. It first happened when I was pulling out of my driveway, and it sounded like the car was choking before it just cut out. I tried to restart it numerous times, but it just kept cutting out. The battery warning light came up so I thought it was the battery, but it was fine when the RACV guy turned up 15 minutes later. It has happened twice more since. What could be wrong?
It sounds like a fault with an engine sensor or its connections. Check the crank angle sensor.
