A knock up front

THERE'S a knock in the front end of my 1995 KS Mitsubishi Verada. I've taken it to several places and nobody can fix it. The shock absorbers have been replaced, which has made a huge difference to handling. The tie-rod ends and most bushes have been replaced.

CHECK the top mounts of the front struts. The Mitsubishi has a system of two mounting nuts, one on top and one underneath. The knocking could be caused by looseness in the lower nut, even if the top one is tight.
