Isuzu D-Max 2012: Problem with electric windows

While we are generally pleased with our 2012 Isuzu D Max we have had a problem with the electric windows since it was new, which sees the drivers window stopping two or three times on the way up. In 18 months it has had the regulator, bailey channels and window rubbers replaced three times on the drivers side and once on the passenger side, and we have just booked it in for the fourth replacement. The dealer has been very obliging in doing the work, but we are really at our wits end, as we live in country Victoria and getting to the dealer means a 2 1/2 hour drive, a half-day wait, and a 2 1/2 hour drive home again. Is this a common problem?

We haven't had any other reports of this problem; so suspect it's related to your car. I would suggest that you talk to your dealer and request the help of Isuzu head office to fix it once and for all. I would also ask for a temporary loan vehicle while they sort out the issues with yours.
