The service interval for the Navara is 10,000 km or six months, whichever comes first, which is what I expect you must follow. It’s not a good idea to use water instead of a coolant, particularly if the cylinder head is an alloy one. Most cars today have alloy heads, and using water will cause corrosion. You’re best to use a coolant that’s designed for use in your car. An auto supermarket should be able to help you choose the one to suit your car.
