When you modify, tune and push production engines you always run the risk of something going pop, but D&J Percision Machine and Firepunk Diesel from Ohio took this to a whole new level.
Their Cummins diesel engine was equipped with three turbochargers in a compound set-up, which uses staged turbochargers to blow increasing amounts of boost into the engine.
Big boost pressure results in big cylinder compression, and the insane 146psi these boys were throwing down the throat of this poor engine was just far too much as you can see in this video. Yes, that is the crankshaft spinning in clear air at the end!

What engine do you think could withstand this type of boost? let us know in the comments.
