Subaru unveils epic performance model but snubs Aussies

By Iain KellyIain Kelly
Subaru will launch the S208 at the Tokyo Auto Salon in October.

Subaru have a nasty habit of releasing awesome limited-edition ultra-high-performance special models in Japan, but then not making them available for any market except the local Japanese one.

And they look to have done it again with the new Impreza S208.

The latest in the range of stove-hot S-models, the S208 cops a 241kW 2.0-litre turbo four-pot, super-aggressive aero bodykit, lightweight BBS wheels, a carbon fibre roof, and racing seats, but is limited to just 450 units that are allocated by a lottery.
