Ken Block’s crazy, hand-built widebody ‘65 Ford Mustang is back! And now it’s sporting twin-turbochargers and running on straight methanol, which means it is now producing an insane 1400hp.
This reworking of the all-wheel-drive Pony Car comes ahead of the next Gymkhana video due to be released September 25 (Los Angeles time), which will feature the “Hoonicorn” blasting up Pikes Peak in Colorado, the site of the famous Pikes Peak Hill Climb.
If you can’t wait for that next full video check out the teaser the Hoonigan boys have released, showing Block thrashing the Mustang around Irwindale Speedway in California with all four tyres absolutely hazing white smoke into the sky.
We’ll bring you more on the next Gymkhana video, the ninth in the series, as soon as it drops!
