Formula One has had a rich history in North America, from the lethal Watkins Glen up north, to street circuits around Long Beach, California, and Detroit, to the carpark of a casino in Las Vegas, and now the Circuit Of The Americas in Texas. But it has never been to one of the most beautiful and glamourous spots in America - Miami.
The tourist mecca could soon host an F1 race as the Mayor met with representatives of Liberty Media, who own the rights to F1, to discuss 6 potential circuits around the city.Â
If it falls through, New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas are all in talks to also hold an extra USGP in 2020.
