Cars and Coffee hosted its first event for 2017 in a new location, Jones Bay Wharf, and oh boy, could the weather ever be better?

Seriously, it was like some sort of ridiculous ad campaign for Tourism Australia. It showcased some of the best Sydney had to offer on four wheels, plus the best backdrops of the harbor foreshore for aspiring photographers.

It might not be the most expensive car on show, but this Mustang looked incredible.

As an added bonus, no American muscle cars managed to find lightpoles on the way out despite an ever-so-tempting roundabout just around the corner.

The cars present ranged from the brand new Lexus RC and even Tesla Model X to the most immaculately kept examples from the past, such as the very tidy Austin Healy 3000 Mk III direct to you from the '60s.

Coffee? In ample supply later in the morning, when savvy cafe owners opened up on their day off.

All in all a great location and incredible weather for a day out. Here's to hoping the event continues in such a top-tier location.

His fascination with automobiles was also accompanied by an affinity for technology growing up, and he is just as comfortable tinkering with gadgets as he is behind the wheel.
