Volkswagen Australia announced this week that the braked towing capacity of its flagship Amarok V6 dual-cab ute range has increased from 3000kg to 3500kg.

The Amarok V6 now officially outmuscles Toyota’s top-selling HiLux in the the towing stakes, lifting its braked capacity from 3.0 tonne to 3.5 tonne.
