The affordable convertible is back in fashion. Some 35 years on from the unveiling of the seminal Mazda MX5 Miata, 2024 is shaping up to be the year of the roadster’s return, with not one but several droptops (or targas) looming, to multiply our choice and – hopefully – lead to a new wave of attainable open sports cars.
