Range Rover Sport 2012 News

European manufacturers Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar Land Rover and Peugeot have all issued recent recall notices.

Tesla has issued a voluntary recall for its electric Model S sedan and Model X SUV after discovering a potential manufacturing issue that could stop the electric park brake from functioning properly.

... but that's just the start of the $1.6 billion development program at Land Rover, and the Sport is next in line. Unlike the current Sport, which is based on the Discovery, this one shares its basic styling and alloy construction with the new flagship. Here early in 2014 for around $100,000.  

The difference is that it's the upcoming Sport model. Compared with the all-new Range Rover caught recently by Carparazzi, the Sport has a lower side profile, smaller windows and a flatter tailgate. The big change is a switch away from the chassis of the mid-level Discovery.
