This year is not even over and yet one of 2026’s most-improved SUVs is already looming in sight for Australia. Due by the middle of next year, the GWM Haval Jolion will undergo a significant transformation to improve and update a number of shortfalls to bring it up to class standards against the best-selling Hyundai Kona, MG S5 and Chery Tiggo 4.

Hyundai is about to move to a seven-year/unlimited kilometre warranty in Australia, up from its existing five-year/unlimited kilometre item.

Hyundai has recalled 4781 Kona N SUVs and i30 N sedans built between 2020 and 2023 due to a manufacturing defect affecting the models fuel pumps.

2025 is certainly shaping up as the year of electric car bargains with Hyundai the latest brand to announce a major limited-time offer.
