BMW has revealed halo models for the X5 and X7 SUV ranges, both of which are powered by 4.4-litre twin-turbo petrol V8s.

BMW will launch its X3 M and X4 M in high-spec Competition form as standard, with the mechanically related medium SUVs set to arrive in August at $157,900 plus on-road costs and $164,900, respectively.

BMW has finally lifted the lid on its first X3 M and X4 M performance mid-size SUVs, which feature the Bavarian carmaker’s new-generation 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine, ahead of a local arrival in the second half of the year.
