2006 Mazda3 Maxx Sport hatchback review - Long-term owner
By Owner Review · 22 May 2025
Great tech for a car from 2006, including powered windows, a great radio and speakers (stock) etc. All round great tech for its age. The space I can get out of this hatchback amazes me! I've fit so much stuff that many people wouldn't think is possible! The best feature about this model for me is the handling! The suspension system is really nice for stock! Fuel consumption does use a little more than I first thought, but other running costs are fairly cheap. Very reliable car! Owned it from 190xxxkm to now 290xxx without any major issues!

The multimedia and safety technology in Mazda cars harmonise, creating a symphony of innovation with 25-watt amplifier power and crystal-clear audio and alerts. Advanced safety features like rader cruise control and lane departure warning seamlessly integrate, ensuring a safe and enjoyable driving experience fused with intuitive infotainment systems elevating the journey. Mazda cars strike a harmonious balance between performance, comfort and practicality, offering a well-rounded package for daily driving, with a blend for spaciousness, ergonomics and fuel efficiency. Slipping behind the wheel, I ignite the engine and the amplifier sprang to life, filling the cabin with rich crystal sound. As I merged onto the highway the engine purred smoothly. The LED headlights cast a bright light, illuminating the road ahead. With each curve, the responsive steering creates a symphony of performance and comfort.
