Kia Seltos 2019 Problems

There’s always the temptation to just google this stuff. Problem with that these days is that you don’t know whether the information you dig up is from a trusted source or not. Also, you could be unwittingly looking at the specifications for the same car as yours but built for a different market where fuel quality and engine specifications are different to here. A much safer bet is the check the owner’s manual that came with the car (assuming it’s still in the glovebox).

In any case, I contacted Kia Australia who told me that your car would be fine on 91-octane fuel. Which is to say you can certainly pay more for 95 or 98-octane ULP, but your car won’t drive any differently, use less fuel or be any more reliable. So, 91 it is.
