"The Infiniti Q60 arrived in 2016 as the Japanese luxury brand’s stylish two-door sports coupe, replacing the G37 Coupe and showcasing Infiniti’s push into premium performance territory. Sharing underpinnings with the Nissan FM platform, the Q60 was positioned as a rival to the BMW 4 Series and Audi A5, boasting bold styling and sharp handling.
Globally, the Q60 came with a range of turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines, but Australian buyers received only the flagship 298kW 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 Red Sport variant. This rear-wheel-drive coupe combined sleek lines with genuine pace, delivering a spirited drive wrapped in a luxury-focused package.
Despite its visual appeal and strong performance, the Q60 struggled to gain traction locally and was quietly withdrawn from Australian showrooms by the early 2020s. While no direct successor has emerged, the Q60 remains a distinctive choice on the used market for buyers seeking something rare and rewarding in the luxury coupe segment."
The line-up currently starts at $28,820 for the Q60 2.0Tt Pure and ranges through to $48,400 for the range-topping Q60 3.0Tt Red Sport.
The dashboard of the Infiniti Q60 was one of its biggest disappointments. Check the images - there are two screens that look like they weren't designed to be next to each other. Other elements of the interior were good: the seats, the leather, the trim finishes. But the dash? Not so much.
