Long before Hyundai moved to focus its performance and motorsport models under the N banner there was the Tiburon.

Produced for just over 10 years from the late 1990s this two-door, front-wheel drive coupe was powered by a 2.7-litre V6 engine offered with a choice of six-speed manual gearbox or four-speed automatic transmission.

The line-up currently starts at $3,740 for the Tiburon V6 and ranges through to $5,720 for the range-topping Tiburon V6.

Hyundai Tiburon FAQs

Hyundai Tiburon a good used buy?

The Tiburon uses many of the same parts as other Hyundai models, and the servicing is the same, so there’s no extra cost because it is a sports model. There are no major issues to worry about; the Tiburon was a pretty reliable car. The most important thing in a car that is this old is the condition. Don’t buy a car that appears to have been neglected or knocked about, buy the best you can afford.
