The $36,490 Koleos Zen AWD is the mid-level medium SUV for Renault. It sits above the entry-level Life at $29,990 and the front-wheel-drive version of itself at $33,990, and below the range-topping Intens at $43,990.

The all-wheel-drive Zen comes with fake leather trim, electric park brake, heated front seats, LED taillights, a seven-inch touchscreen with navigation and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. It’s equipped with a rear view camera, but auto emergency braking is part of a $1490 option kit.

Built in Korea, the second-gen Koleos is powered by a 2.5-litre, naturally aspirated four cylinder petrol engine carried over from the previous model, which makes 126kW and 226Nm. It’s backed by a continuously variable transmission.
