VOLVO'S bold and elegant Concept Universe sedan offers clues to the style of the Swedish company’s next generation of large cars.
The roof tapers into a coupe-like finish, accentuated by 'twinning' the front and rear door handles on the B-pillar. Inside the cabin, the focus is on high tech and ultra-modern form, with highly moulded seats and a 'cockpit' layout for the driver.
"We will compete with the best with our special kind of Scandinavian Design. It is unmatched in performance and technology, but without superficiality or complication" says Volvo's chief stylistm Peter Horbury.
