MY 2000 Mazda 626 Classic Hatch has done 72,000km and is still on the original set of Bridgestone Taranza 195/60 R15 tyres. But I will be replacing these in the next two months. I have been getting quotes for the Taranza ER592 with Donut Technology, mainly because of the performance I have had from the previous set. I have also had quotes for the Hankook K406 195/60 R15, but I do not know much about them. The Bridgestone is $37 dearer than the Hankook. Which one should I select?
TYRES are not things you should compromise on, and because you've had a good run out of the Bridgestones I would suggest you stick with them. I wouldn't have a problem fitting Hankooks, but you have the experience of the Bridgestones, and $37 a tyre isn't a lot.
