Two years ago my 2005 BA Mark 2 Falcon XT developed an intermittent front-end vibration, generally at 80 km/h or over. Ford, Pedders and another specialist have not been able to fault find as none of them will take it out on the open road to do it, but will only do 60 km/h in local streets. One thing I have noticed though is that the front right hand brake is extremely hot when I pull over during a vibration event. What could cause this?
The brake could be the clue. We have had reports of a vibration similar to yours that is caused by the brake master cylinder not fully releasing the brakes. Have the master cylinder checked; you might need to replace it.
