Unknown territory

CAN you tell me what fuel usage my 2004 Territory should have. I've had it back to the dealer twice because I believe consumption is too high. The current average is close to 18 litres/100km. I don't drive like a hoon or accelerate too quickly. I've been in touch with Ford Australia, who wasn't able to give me too much info except for the 13.5 litres/100km given as the original figures when the Territory was released.

FUEL consumption is such a can of worms I can't really give you a number that would mean much in your context. I would say, however, the 18 litres/100km is too high and it should be more like Ford's figure.
